Popfluence, an innovative magazine that delves into the captivating world of pop culture and online influencers. Designed specifically for the discerning tastes of Millennials and Gen Z, this publication aims to bridge the gap between contemporary online culture and the often unfamiliar territory for older generations. Embracing the vibrant spirit of diversity, Popfluence goes beyond geographical boundaries, featuring a variaety of content, artists, and influencers not only from the US and UK but also from the enchanting realms of K-Pop and J-Pop.
Inclusive and progressive, Popfluence proudly champions the LGBTQ+ community and fosters an atmosphere of acceptance and belonging.
From conceptualizing the name to crafting the color scheme and determining the layout, every aspect of the magazine's design was an opportunity for me to infuse it with my own interpretation of Popfluence.
To capture the essence of this contemporary publication, I carefully blended youthful elements with a touch of sophistication in delivering the information. The layout exudes a sense of dynamism and playfulness, ensuring that the reader's attention remains captivated without compromising the clarity and accessibility of the content. Collaborating harmoniously with the layout, the chosen typography and design choices work synergistically to create an engaging and immersive reading experience.
The term "pop" in Popfluence holds a dual significance, representing both pop culture and pop art. This inspired the selection of magenta as one of the primary colors for the magazine, infusing it with an energetic and modern flair. To infuse vitality into the visual aesthetic, the paper's off-white shade leans towards a cream-esque hue, injecting life and warmth into each page.
By meticulously considering every element of design, Popfluence emerges as a vibrant platform that celebrates the diversity, creativity, and influence of contemporary pop culture.
